Who are we?
The Siyana family
Siyana was born from a simple observation: every Friday, in every mosque, words are passed on, then lost. When they do circulate, it is often out of context, cut short, without their author having wanted it.
We wanted to give these words a place worthy of them: a library where imams and speakers publish their own sermons, lectures, classes and reminders, and where everyone can listen to them in serenity.
Siyana is an independent project. It belongs to no mosque, federation or movement, and lives off no advertising.
The spirit of Siyana
- A place for listening, not a social network: no comments, no messaging, no like counter.
- No advertising, no sale of data.
- Equality for all: no algorithm promotes any content, everything is shown from newest to oldest.
- Neutrality: Siyana takes no side for any movement, mosque or speaker, and relies on its charter.
- Trust: every imam and every speaker is checked by our team, together with a guarantor mosque. Every report is reviewed by a human.
- Respect for the spoken word: the imam remains the owner of his content and decides how it is shared. A sermon is listened to attentively, as in the mosque.
How does Siyana live?
Listening is free for everyone. Siyana is funded solely by the yearly subscription of imams and speakers, which any listener can also cover for them through Sadaqa.
